Huskies Earn First Conference Win of the Season

The St. Cloud State University men's hockey team recorded their first NCHC win of the 2019-2020 season against Miami University on Friday night.

SCSU's Jami Krannila netted the first goal of the game in the opening period. The Huskies led 1-0 until the Redhawks scored the tying goal in the third period.

St. Cloud State rallied with a goal by Luke Jaycox in the final minutes to put the game away 2-1.

David Hrenak made 20 saves and allowed just one goal in the game.

The Huskies improve to 3-6-4 overall and 1-4 NCHC. They will face Miami in game two Saturday night. Pre-game starts at 5:30 on The River 96.7 FM.
