The Chicago Blackhawks beat the Wild 4-3 in overtime Wednesday night at Xcel Energy Center.

The Wild trailed 2-0 early in the second period before Jared Spurgeon got the Wild on the board at 1:46 with his seventh goal of the year. Zach Parise tied the game on a goal from in close at 7:15 of the second period. Replays appeared to show Parise clearly offside before the goal, but it was upheld due to what the referees determined "insufficient evidence."

After Chicago re-took the lead early in the third period, Erik Haula sent the game to overtime with his 11th goal of the season with just over three minutes left in the period.

Jonathan Toews scored the game-winner in overtime for Chicago at 3:09 on a power play.

The Wild will host the Tampa Bay Lightning Friday night on AM 1240 WJON. Pregame coverage begins at 6:45.
