The NFL released their preseason schedule Tuesday and the Vikings will play their first preseason home game August 26 or 27 against Dallas at the Metrodome.  The Vikings will play their first 2 preseason games on the road to allow for more time for the Metrodome roof to be repaired.  It would be kind of nice of the roof didn't get repaired in time so the games would have to played outdoors at TCF Bank Stadium.  Outdoor football in August and September would be refreshing.  We seemed to like December outdoor football so we would love August and September outdoor football. I know it probably won't happen because the Vikings couldn't sell the amount of tickets they would like if it was at the Bank but going back into the Metrodome after we've had a chance to enjoy the new Twins stadium and new Gopher stadium is kind-of hard.
