The Vikings have the 12th overall pick in tonight's NFL draft.  Minnesota Vice President of Player Personnel Rick Spielman says the Vikings have received interest from 4 teams that could be interested in trading up.  A trade back for the Vikings likely won't happen until the Vikings are on the clock.  A trade back to #17 with New England or back to #23 with Philadelphia are possibilities.  The Vikings are targeting a quarterback at some point but haven't tipped their hand.  It is believed that they like Jake Locker of Washington, Andy Dalton of TCU and Christian Ponder of Florida State.  If the Vikings can trade down to #17, #23 of somewhere else in the first round and get a 3rd round pick in addition that would really help their positioning.  Trading back and then taking Locker, Dalton or Ponder is what I'd like to see.  They can use their 2nd round pick to get some help on the offensive line.
