Timberwolves Hope For The Best In Draft Lottery Tonight

The Timberwolves are hoping for the best when the NBA Draft Lottery takes place tonight at 7:25 (CT).  The Wolves had the worst record in the NBA in 2010-2011 at 17-65.  The have the best odds of any NBA team of landing the 1st pick at 25%.  Cleveland has the 2nd best odds.  The Wolves have never improved their draft position in the draft lottery and the highest position the Wolves have ever had was 3rd overall in 1992 when they picked Christian Laettner.  Shaquille O'Neal was the first player taken in the '92 draft by Orlando.  The Wolves had the best chance of landing the first overall pick that year.  The first player taken in this year's draft is likely to be Duke point guard Kyrie Irving.
