3rd ranked St. John's will host Susquehanna Saturday at noon in the 3rd round of the NCAA Division III football playoffs. The Johnnies are 11-0 while Susquehanna University is 10-1.

The St. John's football is ranked #14 in the d3football.com preseason poll after posting a 8-2 record in 2023. St. John's head coach Gary Fasching joined me on WJON. He says the only ranking that really matters to him is the end of the year ranking where they hope to be #1.

St. John's football hosts Whitworth University (Washington) Saturday at noon in the 2nd round of the NCAA Division III tournament in Collegeville. The Johnnies are unbeaten at 11-0 while Whitworth is 10-0. Both teams posted dominating wins in the first round.

New St. John's football coach Gary Fasching spoke with Jay Caldwell on WJON Thursday. Fasching says a decision on assistant coaches hasn't been made but the process to finalize that is underway.
