Big Ten Starting Hockey Conference
Big Ten Athletic Directors want to start a men's hockey conference beginning in the 2013-2014 season. The conference will send their hockey proposal to the Big Ten Council of Presidents/Chancellors in June. The league would likely include Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State and Penn State. The Gophers and Badgers are currently members of the WCHA while Michigan, Michigan State and Ohio State are members of the CCHA.
