St. Cloud State Wins 7-4 In Omaha

OMAHA - The #2 St. Cloud State Huskies won 7-4 on the road over #20 University of Nebraska-Omaha.

The first period was a back and forth affair. Omaha scored just a few minutes into the game but SCSU answered quickly with one of their own. By the end of the first period, SCSU would add two more goals and Omaha would add one more for an SCSU 3-2 lead.

It looked like the Huskies were going to run away with the game after a pair of 2nd-period goals from Mikey Eyssimont and Ryan Poehling. But two quick goals from Omaha pulled them within just one at 5-4.

St Cloud put the game away late in the third when Jake Wahlin scored his second goal of the night and Eyssimont added another goal as well.
