Charl Schwartzel from South Africa was the surprise winner at the Masters Golf Tournament in Augusta, Georgia Sunday.  He shot a final round 66 and finished at 14 under par.  Maybe the breaks he got early in the round propelled him to the win.  He putted in a birdie off the green and holed an eagle from 100 yards out in his front nine.  He emerged after Tiger Woods surged to a tie for the lead on his back nine.  Tiger proved he could win a major again and was a couple of putts away from winning his 5th Masters.  Schwartzel deserved to win but casual golf fans had a reason to watch golf again.  The final round of the Masters was as fun of a final round we've had in years.  The collapse of Rory McIroy was hard to watch but the emergence of golfers like Schwarzel, Jason Day and Adam Scott and the re-emergence of Tiger Woods was fun.  We can only hope the U.S. Open is just as competitive.
