GRRL Announces Library Card Design Winners
ST. CLOUD (WJON News) -- Great River Regional Library has announced its library card design contest winners just in time for September Library Card Sign-Up Month.
In June, the library system asked artists of all ages to submit designs for new library cards. Anyone living in the Great River Regional Library service area could participate. The artwork was judged based on creativity, design, and how well it communicates the message, "Why do you love the library?"
They received 561 submissions from 452 kids, 64 teens, and 45 adults.
The kids division was won by Joshua whose home library is St. Cloud, the teen division was won by Emily whose home library is St. Michael, and the adult division was won by Abigail whose home library is Buffalo.
Your free library card gives you access to books, movies, magazines, kits, WiFi hotspots, online databases, community events, and more.

Anyone who signs up to get a new library card can select one of the new designs.
