Gophers Pull Out Overtime Victory Against Ohio State 3-2

MINNEAPOLIS -- The Minnesota Gophers found a way to win last (Friday) night taking Ohio State to overtime and capturing the 3-2 victory.

Junior Hudson Fasching put the gophers on top with the lone overtime goal.

Goaltender Eric Schierhorn made 26 saves on the night, helping his team move to 5-7-0 on the season.

The win also gave head coach Don Lucia his 400th career victory.

Minnesota returns to action at 7:00 p.m. tonight (Saturday) against Ohio State.
