The St. Cloud Technical and Community College volleyball team came up big against Minnesota State Community and Technical College in an NJCAA Region XIIIA Tournament matchup Friday night.

During the regular season, the Cyclones fell to the Spartans twice, but the third time was the charm. SCTCC dropped the opening set 25-16 but swept the final three 25-20, 25-20, and 25-16 for the 3-1 win.

The Cyclones improve to 20-9 overall. They will face tournament host Rochester Community and Technical College in the championship on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. The winner of that match will advance to the NJCAA National Tournament.
