The St. John's baseball team plays in the NCAA Division III tournament for the first time since 1998 Wednesday in Oregon at Linfield College at 2pm (Central Time) against the regions top seed Concordia of Texas. The Johnnies are coached by Jerry Haugen who's in his 35th year as head coach. Haugen has led the Johnnies to NCAA tournament appearances in 1994 and 1998 and sent the Johnnies to the MIAC tournament in 2003, 2007, 2010, 2011 and 2012.

The St. John's baseball team defeated St. Thomas 10-5 in the 2nd game played between the two teams in Minnetonka Sunday. St. John's had 2 chances to win 1 game and lost game 1 6-3 to force a deciding 2nd game which St. John's won. Joey Long had 1 hit and 2 RBIs in game 1 for St. John's. Max Forster was 2-4 with a homerun and 4 RBIs for the Johnnies in game 1.

The St. John's baseball team defeated St. Mary's 4-2 Saturday in the MIAC tournament to advance to the MIAC tournament championship. The Johnnies were led Dylan Graves with 4 hits and 1 run scored and Justin Thompson with 2 hits, 1 run scored and 1 RBI. Ryan Spengler threw 7 innings with 2 runs allowed to get the win.

The St. John's baseball team completed a 2-game sweep of Macalester Wednesday afternoon. The Johnnies won game 1 7-2 before winning game 2 2-1. Luke Larson and Josh Groth each had 2 hits and 2 RBIs in game 1. Connor Cline threw 6 innings with 1 hit and 1 unearned run allowed to get the win. He struckout 8.

The St. Cloud State baseball team defeated St. John's 10-5 at Joe Faber Field Monday night. SCSU scored 3 runs in the 5th inning, added 2 in the 6th and scored 2 more in the 7th. Nick Maiers threw 6 innings with 8 hits and 5 earned runs allowed to get the win. Steve Rindelaub went 3-3 with a run scored and 3 RBIs and Brian Hansen went 2-4 with 2 RBIs for the Huskies.

Luke Larson hit a solo homerun and Hayden Zimmerman threw all 7 innings with 3 hits and 0 earned runs allowed to get the win. Max Forster, Billy Gregg, and Aaron Plaff had 1 hit and 1 RBI and Connor Cline threw 6 shutout innings for the Johnnies. St. John's is 22-10 overall and 10-4 in the MIAC.
