Lake Mille Lacs

MnDOT plans to be installing a roundabout at the intersection of Highway 169 and Highway 18 in Garrison in 2026.

One local resort on Lake Mille Lacs closed its lake access after a large crack appeared in the lake ice over the weekend.

The original Petry's Bait is located up in Finlayson near I-35 and offers patrons bakery items, plus anything else they might need while enjoying the outdoors
