The Twins ended their 6-game losing streak Tuesday night when Francisco Liriano tossed a no-hitter against the White Sox.  The Twins managed just 6 hits in the game but one of them was a homerun by Jason Kubel.  Kubel is the only hot hitter on the Twins roster right now.  Denard Span has done fine but everyone else is in a slump.  The Twins are turning to Trevor Plouffe at shortstop for the time being with Tsuyoshi Nishioka getting ready to return in a couple of weeks.  Nishioka could come back as a shortstop but that will depend on how Alexi Casilla handles playing 2nd base on a regular basis.  Casilla still needs to hit and if he doesn't and Plouffe does, the Casilla era could be over in Minnesota.  Plouffe is a former first round pick who's gotten off to a good start hitting .282 with 6 homeruns and 13 RBIs at triple-A Rochester.
