Timberwolves forward Kevin Love is receiving the "Most Improved Player" award from the NBA today.  He averaged 20.2 points and 15.2 rebounds a game this season after averaging 14 points and 11 rebounds a game the year before.  Love is at the heart of a potential nucleus for the Wolves.  He needs some help at  point guard and for either Michael Beasley to become more consistent or for the team to find a better scoring option at the #2 or #3 positions.  If the Wolves are fortunate enough to get the #1 overall pick they need to draft point guard Kyrie Irving from Duke and not forward Derrick Williams of Arizona.  Irving gives them a floor general that every good NBA team needs.  The Wolves cannot sit and wait to see if Ricky Rubio decides to come here.  He doesn't want to play here anyway.  Irving and Love gives them the beginning of a nucleus.
