SAUK RAPIDS (WJON News) - The second in a series of movie screenings centered around dementia is coming up on Thursday.

Memories for Life: Reversing Alzheimer’s will be shown at the Sauk Rapids-Rice Middle School. The film covers the first Alzheimer’s patients who are reversing cognitive decline by following a new therapy.

What to expect:

  • 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.: Local resources and refreshments.
  • 6:00 p.m.: Movie and panel discussion.
  • Bring your loved ones. On-site respite care is available in a private room from A Home for the Day – Adult Day Center.

The movie and discussion will take place at the Sauk Rapids-Rice Middle School CAC (Door 1 – 901 1st Street South in Sauk Rapids).

The event is free, but pre-registration is required.

The event starts with refreshments at 5:00 p.m., with the show at 6:00 p.m., followed by a panel discussion.

The film will also be available by Zoom for those unable to attend in person. If you’d like to attend remotely, the link will be provided after you register.
