I know that speakeasies have become very popular recently.  There are so many around Minnesota and also all over the country.  It's fun to imagine what it was like when it was all hidden, you'd either need a password, or just figure out how to get into the secret entrance. It's a great way to feel like it's 100 years ago.

Now, there is a twist on the traditional speakeasy format.  It's a Serial Killer Speakeasy.  This is a 21+ ticketed event at the Gale Mansion located on 2115 Avenue Stevens Avenue in Minneapolis.

Serial Killer Speakeasy is a chilling immersive experience where four infamous stories unfold live on stage. It’s like stepping inside your favorite true-crime podcast—but with premium cocktails, an ominous atmosphere, and a killer twist.

THE DRINKS GO WITH EACH CASE - 4 KILLERS - 4 DRINKS

  • Case File 1: Ted Bundy – Paired with the Friendly Stranger
  • Case File 2: Jeffrey Dahmer – Paired with the Apartment Two One Three
  • Case File 3: John Wayne Gacy – Paired with the Killer Clowns
  • Case File 4: Ed Gein – Paired with the Gein’s Cauldron

LUCKILY THERE ARE SOME MOCKTAIL OPTIONS INSTEAD OF ALCOHOL

The whole night lasts about an hour and a half.  4 drinks in an hour and a half is quite a few.  Although, obivously you don't have to have every drink. And, if you are concerned with that, and you'd like to participate just not with alcohol, there are some mock-tail options available.

THERE ARE A COUPLE OF DATES AND TIMES TO CHOOSE FROM

When you purchase your tickets, that is when you also choose your date.  There is a general admission option and also a VIP option which is $20 more than the regular price.  Depending on what's important to you, that seems rather reasonable.  General admission is $69 and VIP is $89 (plus fees).

The Serial Killer Speakasy event is happening in August, it seems like it would might be better placed around Halloween, but things can get kind of busy around that time with haunted and killer type events.
