College Hockey

The St. Cloud State University men's hockey team is headed to the NCAA Tournament, and fans are invited to watch the selection show Sunday with team coaches and players at Buffalo Wild Wings.

The Bob Motzko Show airs every Monday night during the SCSU hockey season live from the Green Mill in downtown St. Cloud. The show is hosted by Jim Erickson and can be heard on The River 96.7 FM.

Eyssimont notched the game-winner on a goal assisted by Patrick Newell at 8:14 of overtime, sending the crowd of just over 2,000 at the HBHNC into hysterics.

I live in Minnesota, which means I naturally have a pessimistic view on sports. I'd love to not have that feeling, but I can't help it. The teams I've cheered for make me this way, I believe this Huskies team will have to exorcise some demons fans have been dealing with over the past five years.

St. Cloud State men's hockey defenseman Will Borgen was selected to play for the United States at the 2018 Winter Olympic games. However, in four games, Borgen has yet to see the ice.

The #3 St. Cloud State Men's Hockey team (20-6-4) completed an NCHC sweep of #15 Western Michigan (14-14-2) with a 4-2 win Saturday night in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Friday night's game officially ended in a 5-5 tie per NCAA rules, before the Huskies went on to win in overtime.

The #4 St. Cloud State Men's Hockey team (19-6-3) shut out Miami University (10-15-3) 4-0 this evening in Oxford, Ohio. The Huskies 5th win in a row launches them over the idle DU Pioneers for 1st place in the NCHC.
