Can The Lynx Get Sports Fans Going?

The Minnesota Lynx began the season with 1-1 record but the hopes for this team are much higher.  The WNBA hasn't garnered much interest throughout the country and Minnesota is no exception to that.  Will a winning Lynx team get fans excited?  I'm guessing no but we are getting desperate around here.  The Twins are 16 games under 500 but have been playing better lately so I still expect them to get more interest.  If the Twins go back in the tank a winning Lynx team could change our tune.  Maya Moore is the real deal and could very well spark our interest.  I don't think a deep run causes us to feel the Minnesota losing streak is over but it could help.  I'd like the see the Lynx help start a period of sucess for the state so join me in pulling for them.
