I began my professional radio career working nights at KDMA in Montevideo. Then, after a 10 year stint in Redwood Falls working at KLGR, I moved to St. Cloud. I’ve been working here at WJON since 2005, and have been the news director since 2007. The main beats that I cover include: politics, education, and local government. Sherburne County Included In Winter Weather Advisory
Sherburne, Meeker and Wright counties are included in a Winter Weather Advisory that will be in effect from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday. Three to five inches of snow are possible.

First Snow Then the Winds, Bone Chilling Cold
Light snow will re-develop later Monday evening over western Minnesota and spread eastward overnight, continuing through the day across all of central-southern Minnesota and western Wisconsin Tuesday then slowly diminish from west to east Tuesday afternoon and evening.
Snow On the Way for Much of Minnesota
Light snow will begin to develop in west central Minnesota Monday morning, and move east-northeast across central and east central Minnesota Monday afternoon.

We're still on track for a few inches of snow Friday across southwest and southern Minnesota.
St. Cloud Issues Snow Emergency for Friday
The city of St. Cloud has declared a snow emergency for Friday. The Public Works department says, because we have received a prediction of more than six inches of snow, the snow emergency will begin at 12:01 a.m.
