ROCORI Softball Headed to State Tournament
The ROCORI softball team defeated Sauk Rapids-Rice 6-0 to win the Section 8-3-A title and advance to the Class 3-A state tournament next week. The Spartans improve to 14-9.
Rox Outscore Larks 9-5; Home Opener Tonight
The St. Cloud Rox are 3-1 after posting a 9-5 win at Bismarck against the Larks. The Rox scored 2 runs in the 1st and 5th innings and single runs in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 6th and 7th innings.

Cathedral Releases Graduate Rates and GPA Numbers
Cathedral High School held their graduation ceremony last Friday and the rest of the students finish up the school year Thursday. Cathedral Activities Director Emmett Keenan joined me on WJON today.
High School Sports Results Wednesday May 31
Cathedral defeated Pillager 15-1 Wednesday to stay in the winners bracket in the Section 6-2-A baseball playoffs. Trevor Fleege pitched five strong innings for the complete game win, scattering four hits and giving up no earned runs.
Larks Edge Rox in 10 Innings
The St. Cloud Rox lost 9-8 in 10 innings at Bismarck against the Larks Wednesday night. The Rox went out to a 5-1 lead in the 2nd inning only to see the Larks come back to lead 7-6 in the 8th inning.
Cathedral Hires New Girls Soccer Coach
Cathedral High School has announced the hiring of Abby Schneider as their new head girls soccer coach. Schneider is a 1999 Cathedral graduate who's had several years of coaching experience in various sports having been a head girls' swim and dive coach at the high school level for seven years, four at Cathedral.
Sartell Set To Open Pedestrian Bridge, Ready for Summerfest
Sartell has a ceremony scheduled for June 9 at 8:30 p.m. to highlight the reopening of the pedestrian bridge to the community. The event coincides with this year's Sartell Summerfest celebration June 9-10.
Crimestoppers: Stolen Bike, Wallet and Golf Cart in St. Cloud
The St. Cloud Police Department are reporting a burglary on the 3200 block of County Road 74 where a wallet was taken from a residence and a vehicle was stolen from an attached garage.
High School Sports Results Tuesday May 30
Rocori softball is one win away from going to the state tournament after posting a 4-3 win over Sauk Rapids-Rice in the Section 8-3-A softball tournament Tuesday. The Spartans will play the Storm again tomorrow at 4 p.m. at Tech High School in the Section finals.
