Youth, Antlerless and Archery Deer Hunting Numbers in MN
Minnesota's youth deer hunt ran from October 17-20. The DNR is reporting that over 6,000 deer were shot, which is up 10% from last year. The youth deer hunt is available for those 17 and under. Glen Schmitt from Outdoor News joined me on WJON.
Albany Volleyball Is Headed to State; ROCORI Falls
Albany defeated Sauk Centre 3 games to 2 Thursday night at Sauk Rapids-Rice High School in the Section 6-2-A championship match. Scores were 16-25, 25-22, 25-14, 16-25, 15-11.
Cathedral Boys Soccer Grabs 3rd Place
The Cathedral boys soccer team defeated Pine Island-Zumbrota-Mazeppa 3-2 today in the Class A State Tournament 3rd Place game at West St. Paul Regional Athletics Center.
Stolen Vehicle in St. Cloud; Theft in Waite Park
St. Cloud Police are reporting a stolen vehicle on the 3500 block of St. Germain Street West. Alicia Mages from Tri County Crime Stoppers says the vehicle is a dark blue Ford Fusion with a dent near the front right turn signal.
Cathedral Boys Soccer Falls in State Semis
Cathedral lost 4-3 to Rochester Lourdes Wednesday night at U.S. Bank Stadium in the Class A State Tournament Boys Soccer Semifinals. The loss is the first this season for the Crusaders and drops their record to 20-1.
Sartell Golf Course Changes in 2025; Sartell Road Work Plans
Pine Ridge Golf Course in Sartell has been under new ownership in 2024 but was operated by the existed operator through the 2024 season. Sartell Mayor Ryan Fitzthum says that will be changing in 2025.
