A Minnesotan who also happens to be in the music industry recently had to call out the Hawk Tuah girl for a story about some DMs. Rapper turned aspiring country-artist Yung Gravy, set out to get the story correct after she alleged he asked her out via DM recently. Gravy shared his screen to clear the air.

Gravy took to social media after a story popped up online that he had approached the viral sensation online and asked her out. It turns out she was the one who approached him first, with a 1AM direct message.

Gravy didn't respond for a few hours and then complimented her on her success, and invited her to a show as his guest, to which she responded with which one, and Gravy sent his tour schedule and basically told her to pick a date.

That's where the screen sharing ended, so if Gravy, later on, decided to shoot his shot with the viral young lady, we don't see that, but from what he posted to social media, it would appear that the former Rochester MN native was being polite, and maybe a little too nice with the concert invite.

The social media reel is labeled 'can't be nice anymore' with a LOL face emoji.

Gravy, who's real name is Matthew Raymond Hauri, grew up in Rochester before going to school in Madison, WI. He started performing and uploading his songs to SoundCloud before taking a risk and quitting his job in 2017 to begin performing and writing full-time.

Gravy recently released an album called 'Serving Country' that features a song with Shania Twain, called White Claw.
