It's tough out there for those who are making travel plans. Budget airline Spirit is gone, some airlines are hiking bag fees, and now one airline is removing beverage and snack service on flights of less than 350 miles. But not everything is designed to claw more hard-earned money from your wallets. Did you know one popular MSP airline offers you a baggage guarantee? Here's what you need to know the next time you take off!

Let's be honest, traveling can be frustrating, no matter what method you choose. Specifically, airline travel has so many rules, and they always seem to be changing them, but is there anything worse than experiencing luggage issues while traveling?

Thankfully, my family has only experienced a bag breaking on a return flight (everything was still inside, but the bag had split open). But sometimes, when you get off the plane at your destination, you then have to wait around for your luggage to get to the carousel, and all the while, you want to be on your way to the hotel or Airbnb, rather than waiting for your bag with plenty of other stressed passengers.

One MSP Airline Offers A 20-Minute Baggage Guarantee

Delta is offering its SkyMiles members a perk if they have to wait for their baggage for more than 20-minutes, but you can't wait around long to claim your 'prize'. According to the Delta website:

"If your checked bag doesn't arrive at the carousel in 20 minutes or less after any domestic flight, you are eligible to receive 2,500 bonus miles. Just complete this form no later than two hours after your flight's arrival."

Skymiles members will have to wait up to two weeks to see the bonus miles on their account, but it's nice to know that the next time your bags take a long time, you might be able to get a small perk out of it.
