A Grand Reopening & New Owners For This ‘Spot’ In Royalton
Turn off the lights if you're the last one to leave town in August, as a longtime fixture in Royalton has new owners and they are planning a party! A Grand Reopening celebration will be happening August 2nd at the 10 Spot!
Meet The New Owners
In a post announcing the new owners by Falcon National Bank, "James and his wife have helped out in the bar over the past years and are looking forward to taking over this establishment and getting more acquainted with the community."
James and Dolly Scepurek have taken over the 10 Spot and are looking to keep the fun times going. They will be throwing a grand reopening party on August 2nd, which will include some entertainment too.
The Grand Reopening
The 10 Spot isn't closed, it's still open and serving frosty beverages along with daily specials and great food. The grand reopening party on August 2nd will run from 5pm to close with the Rollie Show performing from 8-11 that night.

If you haven't been before, it's a great place to stop on your way North or South for a bite to eat and/or a beverage. (Pro-tip: they have a great breakfast too)
Adding to the history of The 10 Spot
The building that houses the 10 Spot was built in 1889 and has been a popular mainstay for more than 60 years. Before it was the 10 Spot, it was known as Rooney's.
The previous owners, Gary and Deb Wenner, had owned the bar since 2004 and decided it was time to move on to the next chapter in their lives. A big thanks to Gary and Deb for their years running the bar, and a big HELLO to James and Dolly!
You can find the 10 Spot on Highway 10 in Royalton at 12 N Highway 10.
