The 25th ranked Gopher men's basketball team defeated Iowa 69-59 Sunday evening at Williams Arena. Trevor Mbakwe came off the bench to lead Minnesota with 16 points and 12 rebounds, Al Nolen added 13 points and Ralph Sampson III added 11 points.

University of Minnesota forward Trevor Mbakwe was jailed Monday for violating a harassment restraining order. Police say Mbakwe was booked into Ramsey County Jail on misdemeanor charges for posting a message on a St. Paul woman's Facebook page.
