Gopher Basketball Hosts Illinois Tonight

The 25th ranked Gopher men's basketball team looks to end a 3-game losing streak when they host Illinois at 8pm tonight, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 7:30.  Minnesota is 16-7 overall and 5-6 in the Big Ten.  The Gophers will have guard Blake Hoffarber available despite injuring his knee Sunday against Ohio State.  Hoffarber has a bruised left knee but is expected to start at point guard for Minnesota.
