Tech Tigers Fall to Moorhead Spuds, in Men’s Basketball.

The St. Cloud Tech Tigers fell to the Moorhead Spuds 79-37 Friday night in Men's Basketball.  The Spuds got off to a hot start early and lead 28-9, but the Tigers went on a 13-6 run to cut it to 34-22.  The Spuds went on another run late in the half and lead the Tigers 45-23 at halftime.  Jake Martig lead the Tigers with 7 points and Cody Dorow lead the Spuds with 20 points in the first half.

The Spuds continued to play well in the second half as they outscored the Tigers 34-14 in the half.  Jake Martig had a team high 8 points for the Tigers and Cody Dorow had a game high 25 points for the Spuds.

The Tigers overall record falls to 5-8 on the season.  The Tigers next game will be Tuesday evening against Sauk Rapids.
