The St. Cloud Tech Tigers boys hockey team honored 11 seniors on Thursday evening. Tech's senior leadership helped the Tigers erase a two period deficit to score three 3rd period goals and defeated the Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm 3-1.

Sauk Rapids-Rice got on the board when Cameron Bauer scored on a pass from Landon Kobluk making it 1-0. In the 2nd period the Tigers came out stronger but were not able to light the lamp despite 19 shots on net through two periods. Later in period, Kaleb Woodman scored the 2nd power play goal for Tech and the Tigers took a 2-1 lead. With ten seconds left in regulation Joey Mendel sealed the deal for his 2nd goal of the game, giving Tech the 3-1 win.

With the win, the Tigers improve to 6-16-2 overall and 3-11-1 in conference. Up next for Tigers is regular season finale when they faceoff with Moorhead next Thursday.
