Purdue beat the Gophers 45-17 Saturday afternoon in West Fayette, Indiana.  Minnesota trailed 31-3 at halftime and managed a pair of garbage touchdowns in the 2nd half.  Marcus Jones had a 92-yard kickoff return touchdown and Marquis Gray had a 1-yard touchdown run.  Gray threw for just 104 yards and ran for 20 yards for Minnesota.

The Gophers fall to 1-5 overall and 0-2 in the Big Ten.  Minnesota will host Nebraska next Saturday at 2:30pm, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 1:30.
