Sports Notes; Outdoor High School Sports This Week
The long winter of indoor spring sports practices appears to be over. Lots of high school baseball, softball, tennis, and golf will be played this week. Sartell-St. Stephen baseball will play at Big Lake this afternoon at 4:30. The Sabres will also play at Fergus Falls tomorrow.

Sports Notes; Local Basketball Players Get Honored
St. Cloud Cathedral's Michael Schaefer has been selected to the 2nd team on the Minnesota Senior All State team. Schaefer led the Crusaders to back to back Class AA state tournaments including a 3rd place finish this season. He averaged 24 points and 12 rebounds a game in senior year.
Vikings Sign Kendricks to 5-Year Deal
According to ESPN the Vikings have signed linebacker Eric Kendricks to a 5-year contract worth $50 million with $25 million guaranteed. In 3 years with the Vikings he has totaled 253 solo tackles, 30 tackles for loss, 26 quarterback hurries, 21 pass break-ups, 7.5 sacks and two interceptions.
