Wild Remain Hot, Win 5th Straight
RALEIGH, N.C. -- The Minnesota Wild continued their month-long stretch of strong play in Friday night's 3-1 victory over the Carolina Hurricanes.
Charlie Coyle got the Wild a first period lead with his eighth goal of the season. The Hurricanes came back in the second to tie it at 1-1.
The second period goal would be the only one allowed by Minnesota's red-hot goalie, Devan Dubnyk.

The Wild have now won 10 of their past twelve games and have gone 16-3 since January 27th.
With the win, Minnesota has a record of 36-22-7 (79 points) which is good for the fifth seed in the Western Conference.
