The St. John's baseball team plays in the NCAA Division III tournament for the first time since 1998 Wednesday in Oregon at Linfield College at 2pm (Central Time) against the regions top seed Concordia of Texas. The Johnnies are coached by Jerry Haugen who's in his 35th year as head coach. Haugen has led the Johnnies to NCAA tournament appearances in 1994 and 1998 and sent the Johnnies to the MIAC tournament in 2003, 2007, 2010, 2011 and 2012.

The St. John's Baseball team won a pair of games against St. Olaf Tuesday afternoon 3-1 and 4-0. Luke Larson hit a solo homerun and Hayden Zimmerman threw all 7 innings with 3 hits and 0 earned runs allowed to get the win. Max Forster, Billy Gregg, and Aaron Plaff had 1 hit and 1 RBI and Connor Cline threw 6 shutout innings for the Johnnies. St. John's is 22-10 overall and 10-4 in the MIAC.
