The Minnesota Wild lost 4-1 at the New York Islanders Wednesday night.  Niklas Backstrom allowed 3 goals and was pulled from the game early in the 2nd period.  He had 16 saves.  Jose Theodore replaced him and had 21 saves and 1 goal allowed.  John Madden scored the lone Minnesota goal.  The Wild are 33-25-6 and with 72 points are in 11th place in the West, 2 points back of the last playoff spot.  The Wild play at the New York Rangers at 6pm tonight, pregame on AM 1390-the Fan at 5:35.
