I know it's a baseball term, but you can stick a fork in the Oklahoma City Thunder, because they're done.

Just like that 4 pound bass I had on my line Saturday morning, the Thunder let a big one get away last night.  I can go fishing again, however, in that exact same spot this afternoon.  But the Thunder can never get back Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals

Call it a choke job by a young team.  Or was it just a fantastic comeback by a veteran Dallas squad?  Either way, here are the facts.

Oklahoma City started the game on fire.  They had the lead the whole game.  They had the crowd going nuts.  It certainly looked like the series was about to be tied at 2-2.  The Thunder had a 15 point lead with 4:27 to go in the 4th quarter.

And then it happened.

The Mavericks "D" suddenly locked down Kevin Durant, the Thunder committed a few untimely turnovers, and Dirk Nowitzki got hot (again).  Before you knew it, the game was tied 101-101, and going into overtime.

Dallas took the lead in OT, and never looked back.  The final, 112-105, Mavs.

After the game, Kevin Durant was so upset, he could barely speak to the press.  Meanwhile, Dallas was not overly celabratory afterwards, maintaining their very business-like demeanor that they have displayed throughout these playoffs.

Dallas is a better "team" than Chicago, or Miami.  Those teams have the big names, but no depth.

I think the Mavs will wear either of them down in the finals....
