The St. Cloud State University women's team has a new head coach in Steve Macdonald. The former assistant coach was introduced at a press conference held Friday at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center.
Former St. Cloud State defenseman Jimmy Schuldt has been named one of three finalists for the Hobey Baker Award. The finalists were announced Thursday morning.
Schuldt is a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award, which will be given to the nation's top college hockey player next weekend at the Frozen Four in Buffalo, New York.
