The Minnesota Timberwolves built a 17 point first quarter lead they could not maintain in a 114-99 loss to the Pelicans in New Orleans Tuesday night. Minnesota is now 13-30 on the season.

The Wolves led the game 38-21 after the first quarter but only managed 61 points during the rest of the game. Minnesota was led by Andrew Wiggins with 21 points, while Karl-Anthony Towns added 20 points and 13 rebounds.

Anthony Davis led the Pelicans with 35 points.
