
Wolves Pull Past Hawks With Strong Second Half
The Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Atlanta Hawks 125-113 Monday night in Atlanta. The Wolves are now 9-8 on the season with the win.
Karl-Anthony Towns led the Wolves' second-half surge on his way to a 28 point/13 rebound/eight assist night. Andrew Wiggins added 25 points for Minnesota in the win.
The Timberwolves outscored Atlanta 71-49 in the second half after an ugly second quarter.
Minnesota will take on the Spurs in San Antonio Wednesday night. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m. on WJON.
