The Baltimore Orioles beat the Minnesota Twins 5-3 Monday night at Target Field. The loss was the sixth straight for Minnesota and drops the Twins to 8-24 on the season.

Trevor Plouffe led the Twins by going 2-3 with a two-run home run and three runs batted in, and Brian Dozier also had a pair of hits in the loss.

Adam Jones registered the game-winning hit for the Orioles, a two-run single in the top of the ninth inning off of Kevin Jepsen.

The Twins will wrap up their short two game series with Baltimore Wednesday afternoon. First pitch is scheduled for 12:10 p.m. on WJON.
