It was all hands on deck this (Friday) morning with the first ever Golden Gopher Fishing Classic. Head Football Coach Tracy Claeys and his staff got to cast off with local anglers sharing stories, braving the rain, and meeting fans.

The Gophers have hired Tracy Claeys as their head football coach. He's agreed to a 3-year contract. The move removes the interim tag off his title of Interim head football coach. Claeys replaced Jerry Kill earlier this season after Kill resigned due to health concerns.
