Texas Rangers

The Texas Rangers rallied to defeat the St. Louis Cardinals 2-1 in game 2 of the World Series Thursday night. Texas scored 2 9th inning runs to over take the Cardinals. Michael Young drove in the game-winning run with a sacrifice fly. Mike Adams earned the win in relief and Neftali Feliz picked up the save for the Rangers.

Texas beat Detroit 15-5 in game 6 of the American League Championship Series to advance to the World Series for the 2nd straight year. The Rangers win the series 4 games to 2. Texas scored 9 runs in the 3rd inning and Michael Young had 5 RBIs for Texas.
