St. Cloud 76ers

The St. Cloud 76ers defeated the St. Cloud Chutes Saturday 9-1 to qualify for the Division I State American Legion Baseball tournament.  The 76ers will play at Hargis Park on the Bethel University Friday at 11:15am against Excelsior.  The winner of the game will play at 4:45pm while the loser would play an elimination game at 2pm Friday...

The St. Cloud Chutes eliminated Foley 13-0 last night in the Division I Sub-State 12 tournament at Champion Field in Sartell. Rudy Sauerer had 3 hits and 4 RBIs for the Chutes.

American Legion Baseball: St. Cloud Sub-District VI Playoffs Sauk Rapids 4, St. Cloud 76ers 3 (11 innings) (Tyler Long scored the go-ahead run with the bases loaded in the 11th on Matt Meyer's ground ball) Sartell 11, Becker 1 (Blake Guggenberger went 3-4 with 1 RBI for the Sabres. Sartell plays Cold Spring at 5pm today at Putz Field)
