The Minnesota Lynx won game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals 66-65 over San Antonio Friday night at Target Center. Lindsay Whalen led the Lynx with 20 points, Seimone Augustus added 19 points and Maya Moore chipped in 10 points.

The Minnesota Lynx beat Chicago 78-69 Thursday night to improve to 26-7. Lindsay Whalen led the Lynx with 20 points, 10 assists and 7 rebounds, Seimone Augustus added 22 points and Maya Moore chipped in 16 points.

Two Minnesota Lynx players received honors from the WNBA Thursday. Lindsay Whalen was named the WNBA Western Conference player of the month for the month of August. She is averaging 14.2 points and 5.9 assists a game this season. Maya Moore has been named the WNBA rookie of the year. Moore is averaging 12.5 points a game this season.

The Minnesota Lynx beat the Washington Mystics 73-56 Tuesday night to earn their 6th straight win and improve to a WNBA best 24-6. Lindsay Whalen led the Lynx with 21 points and Maya Moore added 9 points for Minnesota.

The Minnesota Lynx suffered their worst loss of the season falling 108-79 at Connecticut Tuesday Night. Connecticut led 29-14 after 1 quarter and never trailed. The Lynx were led by Lindsay Whalen led the Lynx with 20 points and both Maya Moore and Seimone Augustus added 11 points.

The Minnesota Lynx defeated Los Angeles in L.A. Sunday night 84-78 for their 9th straight win. Lindsay Whalen led the Lynx with 24 points and 8 assists, Seimone Augustus added 19 points and Rebekkah Brunson added 18 points and 8 rebounds for Minnesota. The Lynx are 16-4 and will play at Phoenix at 9pm Tuesday.

The Minnesota Lynx defeated San Antonio 70-69 Sunday. Lindsay Whalen made a jumper in the closing seconds to give the Lynx the win. Whalen led the Lynx with 23 points, Seimone Augustus added 16 points and Taj McWilliams-Franklin added 15 points and 8 rebounds.

The Minnesota Lynx will have 4 players on the Western Conference All Star team this season. Three Lynx players were chosen as Western Conference reserves yesterday. The three are point guard Lindsay Whalen, shooting guard Seimone Augustus, and forward Rebekkah Brunson. They join Maya Moore as All Stars. Moore will start for the Western Conference.

The Phoenix Mercury beat the Lynx 112-105 Wednesday afternoon at Target Center. Seimone Augustus led the Lynx with 22 points, Lindsay Whalen added 19 points and 6 assists and Rebekkah Brunson chipped in 16 points and 16 rebounds for Minnesota. The Lynx led the game late but couldn't hold onto it down the stretch. Minnesota is 7-4 and will play at Indiana Friday night at 6pm.

The Minnesota Lynx took it to Tulsa with a 101-71 win on the road Thursday night. Lindsay Whalen led the Lynx with 21 points and Candice Wiggins added 18 points off the bench. Minnesota improves to 6-3 and ends a 2-game losing streak. The Lynx will host Connecticut at 7pm Saturday.
