St. Cloud Area School Superintendent Laurie Putnam has announced some administrative changes within the district.

St. Cloud School Superintendent Laurie Putnam joined me on WJON to talk further on the upcoming District 742 Apollo Referendum questions. She says anyone interested in learning about these questions can access an online presentation prepared by her and Apollo Principal Justin Skaalerud.

Seven candidates are vying for 4 seats on the St. Cloud School board. The seven candidates are Scott Andreasen, Yoanna Ayala-Zaldana, Al Dahlgren, Diana Fenton, Shannon Haws, Bruce Hentges and Monica Segura-Schwartz. Andreasen, Dahlgren, Fenton, Haws, Hentges and Segura-Schwartz appeared on WJON for a candidate forum.

St. Cloud School District 742 has been a longtime partner with the community for programs to ready students for life after high school. The EPIC program brings 10th grade students from numerous area high schools together with area businesses to give students a glimpse into what many industries/businesses are.

The St. Cloud Area School District is launching a new initiative to help seniors plan for their future.

The Local Education & Activities Foundation known as LEAF is once again holding an Adopt-A-Classroom project.
