Cathedral Crusaders

Cathedral football is ready to go after what head coach Andrew Leintz calls a "robust" offseason with 10 to 11 practices throughout the summer, 7 of 7 tournaments and organized team activities. He says they had a good camp leading up to this week.

The St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders hosted the defending state champion Becker Bulldogs tonight.

The St. Cloud Cathedral baseball team wrapped up their 2015 season undefeated and capturing its second straight Class 2A state championship defeating Minnehaha Academy 10 -1.

It's not to often a freshman gets to start on the varsity football team, but this week's All-Star Student has been playing on the defensive line for three years, and is only a Junior at Cathedral High School.

The St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders tied things up in the second half but weren't able to hold off the Pioneers strong running game, falling 32-21 in the section 5-3A finals.

Cathedral 7'1 senior Conor Voss has verbally committed to play college basketball and attend Columbia University in New York City starting in 2013. Voss grew from 6'10 last season to 7'1 this year. He is entering his senior year and expects to be the focus of the Cathedral boys basketball team.
