The Cathedral baseball team downed Royalton in the winners bracket of the Section 6AA playoffs Wednesday 8-6. The 2nd seeded Crusaders will play Pierz at 7pm at Joe Faber Field in St. Cloud Thursday night.

The Cathedral baseball team topped Long Prairie-Grey Eagle 3-2 yesterday before the rains came Tuesday at Joe Faber Field. Junior Jackson Jangula tripled in the winning run in the 7th inning to lift Cathedral to the win.

The St. Cloud Cathedral baseball team wrapped up their 2015 season undefeated and capturing its second straight Class 2A state championship defeating Minnehaha Academy 10 -1.

The top ranked and unbeaten Cathedral baseball team defeated Marshall 5-2 today at Dick Putz Field in the Class AA State Semifinals. Dominic Austing and Jack Schramel each had RBI singles in the first inning and Bryant Bohlig added a RBI single in the 4th with Josh Thyen added a sacrifice fly in the 4th.
