Former Viking, Packer and Jet Brett Favre will be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame Saturday in Canton, Ohio. Favre is joined by former Colts Head Coach Tony Dungy. Dungy was also a Defensive Coordinator for the Vikings in the late 90s and played College Football for the Gophers.
Brett Favre Still Not Coming Back
Former Viking quarterback Brett Favre met with employees of a Wrangler jean plant destroyed by tornadoes in Alabama Wednesday and he confirmed that he is not returning to the NFL. Favre retired after his 20th NFL season and 2nd with the Vikings in January.
Favre Files Retirement Papers
Fox Sports is reporting that quarterback Brett Favre has filed his retirement papers and this time he's expected to stay retired. The 41-year quarterback filed retirement papers following the 2008 season but came back and played for the Vikings in 2009 and 2010.
Favre Must Pay $50,000, Playing Status Uncertain
Viking quarterback Brett Favre has been ordered to pay the NFL $50,000 for "failure to cooperate" with the NFL in their investigation for a possible violation of the league's personal conduct policy. The NFL's ruling into allegations that Favre sent inappropriate messages and lewd photos to former New York Jets game hostess, Jenn Sterger concluded Wednesday.
