Aric Putnam

It all started for State Senator Aric Putnam in Maryland but he grew up in east San Jose. This is the story of Aric Putnam as part of WJON's "My Life" series. Putnam's father served in Vietnam and comes from a family of military veterans.

Minnesota Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan stopped in St. Cloud Friday for a roundtable discussion on the availability of child care.

When the next Minnesota State Legislative session begins in early January a St. Cloud senator will have the opportunity to lead one of the committees.

More than 6,000 jobs are available according to Gail Cruikshank, Talent Director from the Greater St. Cloud Development Corporation. She says approximately 500 of those jobs are in the construction field. Cruikshank says there are currently limitations for 16 to 18 year old people who'd like to work on construction sites.
