Holiday festivals are everywhere in the state of Minnesota here in early December. Alyssa Hayes from Explore Minnesota joined me on WJON today. She highlighted many ways people throughout the state and can enjoy the holidays.

It's not even Thanksgiving but many holiday light festivals are either underway or will be soon. Alyssa Hayes from Explore Minnesota joined me on WJON this week.

November is native American heritage month. Alyssa Hayes from Explore Minnesota joined me on WJON today. She says the two monuments in Minnesota are located in opposite locations in the state. Hayes says Minnesota's two National Monuments provide insights to our country's Native American heritage and national history.

Central Minnesota is experiencing peak fall colors. Explore Minnesota's Alyssa Hayes joined me on WJON today. She says Central Minnesota is at peak now and will likely stay there for another 2 weeks or so. Hayes says northwest and northeast Minnesota are past peak.

It is only mid September but the changing of the leaves has already begun in extreme northern Minnesota. Alyssa Hayes from Explore Minnesota joined me on WJON today from International Falls, Minnesota. She says she is seeing many signs of fall there with the beginning of fall colors.
